Welcome to the official website of the Chinese Embassy in Albania.

China and Albania share profound traditional friendship. Albania is among the earliest countries to recognize the People's Republic of China and establish diplomatic relations with it. In the 1960s and 1970s, the two peoples forged a profound friendship embodied in the ancient Chinese verse: A bosom friend afar brings a distant land near.

In recent years, under the guidance of the Belt and Road Initiative and China-CEEC Cooperation, practical cooperation between China and Albania has kept expanding, and people-to-people and cultural exchanges have become increasingly rich. This has injected fresh impetus into the growth of bilateral relations and delivered tangible benefits to the two peoples.

Embarking on a new journey in the new era, the Chinese Embassy in Albania will continue to deepen exchanges and cooperation across all fields between the two countries, enhance mutual understanding and friendship between the peoples, and promote the sustained, sound and steady development of bilateral relations. As an important window to learn about China and China-Albania relations, the Embassy website will continue to provide you with the latest updates and better services. We welcome friends from all walks of life to follow our website and offer valuable comments and suggestions on our work.
