In view of the current situation of COVID-19 pandemic and the needs for  epidemic prevention and control, we hereby adjust some measures in the Announcement on Temporarily Stopping the Entry of Foreigners Holding Valid Chinese Visas or Residence Permits, which was jointly issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the State Administration for Migration on March 26, 2020.

Starting from August 24, 2022, foreigners holding APEC business travel cards and valid residence permits for study will be allowed to enter China, under the premise of strictly abiding by China's epidemic prevention management regulations.

Other measures in the above-mentioned Announcement will continue to be implemented. While ensuring effective epidemic prevention and control, the Chinese government will continue to promote the resumption of people-to-people exchanges in an orderly manner.
