1 . How to Apply
(1) Applicants can apply for visa at Visa Office of Chinese Embassy in Albania during 09:00-11:30 a.m on Monday, Wednesday and Friday (excluding Chinese public holidays, for details, please refer to the notice on the official website of Chinese Embassy in Albania). All visa applicants (including diplomatic and service passport holders but excluding applicants applying for Hong Kong or Macau visa ) shall complete visa application form online through China Online Visa Application (https://cova.mfa.gov.cn) and make appointment to submit documents through (https://avas.mfa.gov.cn) before visiting visa office, for details please refer to http://al.chineseembassy.org/eng/lsfw/fhqz/t1805349.htm
(2) Applicants shall fill the visa application form truthfully, clearly and completely. Application might be delayed or even rejected due to untruthful information, omission or illegible writing.
(3) Visa officer will decide on whether or not to issue the visa and on its validity, number of entries and duration for each stay in line with Chinese laws and regulations.
(4)Visa officer reserves the right to request interview with applicants according to Chinese laws and regulations.
2. Time for Reviewing
(1) Ordinary Service: pick-up on the 4th workday after submission
(2) Express Service: pick-up on the 3rd workday after submission (service upon approval)
(3) Urgent Service: pick-up on the 2nd workday after submission (service upon approval)
Please note: the above-mentioned time for reviewing is based on the ordinary situation, some applications may require more time to review, this may result in a longer reviewing process. Applicants in this situation shall wait patiently for the notice from the Embassy.
3. Fees
According to the China and Albania bilateral agreement, the visa application fees for both nationals are exempted reciprocally, Albanian nationals apply for Chinese visa free of charge. Nationals of the third country may pay visa application fees based on the principle of reciprocity. Upon the approval from the visa officer, applicants can apply for an express or urgent service, the fees are €21 and €31 respectively.
