Notice on Fingerprints Collection for Visa Applicants

According to related laws and regulations of the People’s Republic of China and as reference to international norms, the Embassy of the P. R. China in the Republic of Albania will collect 10 fingerprints of Chinese visa applicants in Albania from February 7th, 2021 to issue biometrics visas. The following applicants could be exempted from the aforesaid requirement:

1、Applicants under 14 years or over 70 years of age;

2、Applicants holding diplomatic passports or eligible to be issued diplomatic, service or courtesy visas;

3、Applicants who suffer from mutilation of all ten fingers or whose fingerprints cannot be collected;

4、Applicants who have been issued Chinese visas with the same passport within the past 5 years by the same Chinese Embassy/Consulate General, which has collected his or her fingerprints.

The Embassy of the P. R. China in the Republic of Albania reserves all rights of interpretation for the applicants whose fingerprints should be collected. All applicants should have their fingerprints collected in person at Chinese Embassy in Albania except for the aforesaid exempted ones. Visitors to China whose fingerprints do not match may be denied entry and should bear all the consequences thereof.

All visa applicants (including those holding diplomatic or service passports) should complete visa application forms and make appointments for the time slot to submit visa application forms through online reservation system in advance. Ten fingerprints will be collected upon submitting visa application forms.
